Tori
Occupational Therapist and Director
Jess
Occupational Therapist

I am an Occupational Therapist passionate about neurodiversity, disability, and the beauty of the human mind. As the founder of Helping Hands Therapy, I aim to create a service that provides holistic and supportive services that empower people to reach their goals and celebrate their unique strengths.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities, specialising in developmental diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). I am skilled in life skills training and clinical report writing, with strong success in securing NDIS funding for Assistive Technology (AT), home modifications, and Supported Independent Living (SIL). My practice is guided by inclusivity, respect, and the belief that every person can grow, adapt, and thrive.
Outside of work, I enjoy building LEGO and gaming—hobbies that fuel my creativity and playful approach to therapy.
I’m an Occupational Therapist with a passion for helping people live meaningful, fulfilling lives. I believe that everyone is the expert of their own journey, and I love working alongside people to figure out what’s important to them and how we can reach their goals together. I have had exposure to working with children, adolescents, and adults across community, rehabilitation, and in-patient settings.

I’m a big believer in collaboration and using evidence-based practice, so I always make sure the strategies and supports I use are backed by research and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I also see learning as a lifelong journey, not just for me as a therapist, but for everyone I work with. I truly believe we can all learn from each other along the way.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me doing something creative and crafty, playing video games, or finding a new restaurant to try.
Lisa
Allied Health Assistant

I have experience working in both the aged care and disability sectors and have completed certificates in these areas. I’m currently completing my Allied Health Certification and am excited to continue building on my skills to support others.

I’m passionate about helping people live their best life by empowering them to reach their full potential and achieve their goals. Your wins are my wins, and I take pride in knowing that the support I provide can make a real difference in someone’s journey. I believe that everyone is unique, and by learning from each other, we can create individualised programs that truly work for your needs.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me out walking, practicing yoga, or (like most of us) trying to keep on top of the housework
